How Therapy Works

  • First, it’s important to ensure that I am a good fit for your needs. I offer a free, 30 minute consultation for you to get a feel for who I am and the work I do. To schedule your free consultation, fill out the contact form below.

  • If you decide you want to move forward as my client, we’ll schedule an intake session for me to get to know you and your therapy needs. This is also where you’ll get some cool information from me about how I’m making sense of your experiences and we’ll collaborate on a treatment plan, deciding which modalities of therapy work best for you.

  • After the intake, we’ll set up a schedule for regular therapy sessions that fits your needs. Sessions are typically 55 minutes long and can be done in person at my office, or virtually via my secure, telehealth platform.

  • Therapy sessions are always centered on YOU. You are always welcome to tell me what you need each time we meet and we can always adjust treatment plans along the way. This also means you can choose to pause or end treatment at any time.
